ASAP now cooperating with the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP)
January 19, 2004
The Accelerated School Administrator Program (ASAP) has reached an agreement with the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) the leading advocacy group for elementary and middle school principals in North America. The arrangement brings together two groups committed to promoting excellence in school leadership.
Under the agreement, ASAP will be made available by NAESP to their 29,500 K-8 educators in the United States, Canada, and overseas through their website at www.naesp.org. Being associated with the well established education organization, NAESP, lends increased visibility and helps promote ASAP’s advocacy for and professional development of education leaders.
“We are very excited to be working cooperatively with NAESP. It has always been our goal to provide educational professionals with state-of-the-art, online, interactive professional development tools,” states Kevin Wilson, Product Coordinator for ASAP. “By aligning ourselves with one of the leaders in the education field, we believe this arrangement is a realization of that goal.”
ASAP components and tools provide high quality, individualized, targeted professional development. ASAP efficiently prepares school administrators and teachers to be effective, knowledgeable leaders and educators who are ready for the challenges of today's schools. The mission of NAESP is “to lead in the advocacy and support for elementary and middle level principals and other education leaders in their commitment to all children.” Together, these two organizations have the power to affect genuine change in education.
The Accelerated School Administrator Program provides individualized professional development that prepares school administrators and teachers to be effective leaders and educators. This principal and teacher program is focused on individualized learning so that school administrators and teachers learn what they need to know as educated professionals.
